I have always been an "early bird". With everything I do, I prefer to be overly prepared than be last minute because inevitably I drop the ball somewhere. Plus, this life of motherhood and children does not lend itself to pivoting quickly. Which is why when it comes to holiday shopping I always start early. Further exacerbating my "early bird" ways, this year (and last year) has presented additional challenges with shipping times and product availability.
